Happyduke Toys Wooden 3D Puzzle & Mechanical Model Kit
Happyduke Toys is a wooden 3D puzzle and mechanical model kit that builds into an old-fashioned miniature toy shop. Blue shingled roofs curve around a tall front gable, a little cat looks out from the chimney, and a red toy train takes pride of place above the shop window. It is a small building with something happening on every level.
From the shop window to the roof
The red-and-blue storefront is packed with nostalgic toys: bears, a rabbit, a toy soldier and a miniature telephone share the window display. Look up to the curved balcony and the train with its elephant passenger, set against a black-and-white checked floor. Above it, a bear in a red jacket raises its top hat from a smaller balcony. Brick-patterned walls, decorative trim and a hanging bell frame the scene without hiding the tiny shop inside.
A toy shop that moves
Once assembled, the motor-driven mechanism brings the train display, bear and chimney cat into motion. Music adds to the feeling of an old toy-shop window coming to life. There is also plenty to enjoy while the model is still, from the train’s gold-colored wheels to the layers of toys behind the front window.
Build it into your weekend
Follow the illustrated English instructions to assemble the wooden structure, fit the mechanical components and bring the storefront together. Give yourself time to understand how the pieces connect, then return to the next part when you are ready. Over the time you spend making it, a collection of boards and small parts becomes a complete little shop.
