Rose Detective Agency is a CUTEBEE DIY book nook kit that brings a two-storey detective scene to a bookshelf. A furnished study sits above a brick-fronted street entrance, framed by a dark book-shaped case. Flowers run along the divider bearing The Detective House sign. The narrow front opens up a surprisingly deep view, with books, furniture and street details arranged at different distances inside.

Inside the upstairs study

The room combines green walls and dark shelving with a checked armchair, an open book and a small footstool. A tall decorative clock stands beside a typewriter and globe; a miniature telephone, magnifying glass and feather quill sit near the desk. On the opposite side, a hat rests beneath a framed mirror beside a dartboard. These familiar detective-story objects make the interior worth exploring from both the front and an angle.

A street scene with two moving details

Downstairs, a bench, a red fire hydrant and yellow KEEP OUT tape surround the little entrance. Rose Road and Scotland Yard signs add to the setting. After assembly, a hand-operated slider moves a section of the upstairs shelving sideways to reveal the area behind it. A separate turning knob opens and closes the door below. The original animated demonstration shows both actions, making clear which parts move and how they are controlled.

An absorbing miniature-building project

The kit contains 322 pieces, with illustrated instructions to guide the construction of the room, furniture and street. Allow time to fit the structure carefully and arrange the smaller accessories as you build.
